Information:
The AIS data is received from the vessels by our own Nasa AIS receiver handled by the Shipplotter software and then translated into xml and transferred to our server by a vbscript and displayed on a Google map. From time to time when other "shipplotters" share their information with us the number

of vessels displayed increases.
